After five years of running restaurants in Paris, Dominic GEORGE joined a Provence-based wine company in 1997. He then spent ten years working in all sectors of the wine industry, building up his knowledge of the subject and travelling extensively, particularly in the south of France. After spending 3 years as an Export Director for a large wine company near Montpellier, he decided to set up Languedoc Wine Tours, an idea that he had nurtured for some time.
With all the fantastic wine that now abounds in the Languedoc, Dominic was sure that it was one of the most exciting winemaking regions in the world. This, coupled with Dominic's extensive knowledge of the area and the wine industry and his informal, friendly style make a tour with LWT a great way to pass some of your time in the beautiful Languedoc.
Soon after starting the tours, Dominic realised that his clients were interested in combining wine with gastronomy and culture. For this reason, tours mixing food and wine were added to the itinerary.
